Sunport Arts Program
Additional Information
The Albuquerque International Sunport is one of the country's more unique airports because of the architecture and 113-piece permanent art collection.
We are in the process of completing the rotation of the permanent art collection.
Currently, artwork can be found at gates A1, A4 and B6, between the A and B concourses, the D and E gates, the Great Hall (2nd Level Ticketing), Baggage Claim, outside the Ticketing Level main entrance, along Sunport Boulevard heading east to the parking garage, at the Rental Car Center (on University SE south of Sunport), and at the historic Old Terminal Building on George Road (south of Sunport).
Alive with Art
In addition to the art collection, the Sunport has an exhibits program and performance series.
Curtiss Pusher Biplane
The Sunport is home to an original 1914 Curtiss Pusher Design Biplane located in the Great Hall near the north window. The Biplane is believed to be one of the few planes of that era remaining in its original state.
Sunport Serenades
Sunport Serenades features an array of local talent ranging from classical to mariachi to jazz to polka.
