The Albuquerque International Sunport offers a free "Cell Phone Waiting Area" for use by the general public. 

Meeters and greeters can park in this lot and wait for a call from their arriving passenger before driving to the front of the terminal for pickup.

This reduces congestion and security problems in front of terminal, as well as saving fuel.

Note: You must remain with your vehicle at all times while in the cell phone waiting area.

Aircraft Observation Areas

The Sunport also offers two free Aircraft Observation Areas that can serve as cell phone waiting lots.

One is on Girard just east of the terminal, near the primary cell phone waiting area. The second is south of the terminal on Spirit Drive, just east of University.
