The IAB Medical Subgroup is testing a concept to improve the utility of the information within the SEL and AEL. The first test is the development of a "list within a list" for items applicable to the establishment of a Point of Dispensing (POD). A POD is a location where pharmaceuticals and other medications are distributed to end users. These facilities range from small clinics to large operations with multiple staging and operation areas. They may also support a range of methods of distributing drugs and medications to the patients. Items applicable to PODs have been annotated by adding "POD-List" to the operational considerations section. A keyword search for "POD-List" will produce a list of these items.
