Curious about your color?
Healthways is mailing the last of the letters confirming color levels for 2009 out-of-pocket medical expenses. Many of you who earned the gold level this year have already received your letter. The rest of you should receive your letter by August 8, 2008.
If you haven’t received your letter by Monday, Aug. 11, call Healthways toll-free at 1-877-279-0624.
Appealing your color
If you disagree with the color you’ve earned for your 2009 out-of-pocket medical expenses, you may appeal that color level in August. For your appeal to be considered, you must contact Healthways by Aug. 31 at 1-877-279-0624 toll-free.
The burden of proof is on you to provide Healthways staff with enough information to determine whether your appeal justifies a change in color. When contacting Healthways, be ready to provide specific details, such as times, documents and proof of faxes appropriate to your appeal.
