Barbara Abercrombie, PhD. has served as VC for Organizational Effectiveness & Chief Human Capital Officer for UNT System Human Resources since September 2018, leading the human resources teams for the Denton, Dallas and Fort Worth campuses in the UNT System. Abercrombie oversees the human resources efforts for more than 10,000 faculty and staff at UNT System’s three campuses, as well as with UNT System Administration. She brings more than 14 years of experience in human resources and organizational effectiveness to the UNT System.

Wanda Boyd, PHR & SHRM-CP
Wanda supports each campus and System Administration, while collaborating with UNT’s Office of Equal Opportunity. Her background spans the full spectrum of human resources starting over 22+ years ago with training and organizational development. Her most recent experience is in the area of compliance. She is most passionate about policy review and implementation, federal and state law compliance (to include a particular focus on Title IX and Title VII) and overall employment relations with a keen interest in investigations, mitigating grievances and developing strategic solutions and recommendations for all human resources matters.Wanda has a Bachelor's degree in English, and holds a PHR and a SHRM-CP certification. She is based at the Lee F. Jackson System Building in downtown Dallas.

Jane Gray
Jane Gray is director of Talent Acquisition. She is responsible for recruiting, hiring and management of career opportunities at all UNT System locations. She previously was director of Talent Acquisition for Signet Jewelers, the parent company of Zales, Kay Jewelers and Jared stores. She also has been a senior director for Vizient Inc, and held positions at Blockbuster Inc. and Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems.

Andrea Lillie, MPA, CFE, CLSSBB
Andrea Lillie is the Director of Strategic & Operational Effectiveness. Andrea is a proud UNT alumna and has worked at UNT System for 15 years. Her experience includes Purchasing & Payment Services, Contract Administration, Human Resources, Internal Audit, and Process Improvement. Andrea is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Additionally, she has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Texas.

Dr. R. Mark Miles is a proud UNT alumnus who has spent the past six years building a faculty and staff professional development program at Lone Star College-University Park campus in Houston, TX. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism (Public Relations) from UNT, a master’s degree in Organizational Communication (Training and Development) from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, and a Doctorate in Education (Higher Education Administration) from the University of Alabama.

Donna Shell is an UNT alumna with more than 25 years of experience working in human resources and customer service with both UNT and UNT System. During her time with UNT she helped implement many programs to improve customer service and build relationships throughout UNT World. Donna also brings valuable experience from Texas Women’s University where she spent three years overseeing the benefits area of human resources.

Angela Brown
Angela Brown brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources to UNTHSC, where she will oversee the university’s campus HR services and serve as a key member of the leadership team. Prior to working for the UNT System, Brown served Tarleton State University as the assistant vice president of employee services, director of human resources and as the affirmative action officer. Prior to working at Tarleton State, Brown served in HR roles for both Saint Gobain Abrasives in Stephenville and Texas Instruments in Dallas.
