Arctic sea ice declined this summer to its second smallest extent in the satellite era, suggesting that the record set in 2007 may not have been an anomaly. This video shows a quick tour and overview of the facilities where the GOES-O satellite was built and tested prior to launch. GOES-O was integrated by Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems in El Segundo, CA and then transported to the testing facility in Titusville, FL.
