Lake Forest College is a leading national liberal arts college in the United States. The beautiful 43-hec campus is located just 48 km north of downtown Chicago in Lake Forest, Illinois, an historic suburb bordering Lake Michigan. The student body is a diverse close-knit community of 1,400 students representing 45 states and 69 countries; 15 percent of the student body is international. While the town of Lake Forest provides a safe and supportive environment for the College, the curriculum is uniquely enriched with the extensive resources of nearby Chicago which provides abundant academic, internship, and research opportunities, as well as cultural and entertainment offerings in the city’s dozens of ethnic neighborhoods. Lake Forest offers rigorous and challenging academics with small class sizes and personal attention from professors. Ninety-eight percent of professors hold a PhD or equivalent and are committed to teaching undergraduates, they also serve as advisors and mentors to students.
