As part of the United States Department of Commerce, The U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Export Assistance Center of West Virginia has two locations. The office in Charleston covers the export needs of 31 counties in West Virginia. The office in Wheeling covers the export needs of 24 counties in West Virginia.
We maintain in excess of 107 offices across the United States and have more than 150 overseas offices located at U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world. The U.S. Commercial Service assists U.S. companies in exporting by:
- Providing expert counseling, advice, and advocacy
- Producing research on overseas markets and industries
- Promoting your product and service in overseas markets
- Finding international partners (agents, distributors, JV, licensing, etc.)
The U.S. Commercial Service combines these services and its global network with the trade finance expertise and programs of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the ExportImport Bank of the United States to help make you a successful exporter.
