Integrated Resource Plan
TVA has begun a comprehensive study of alternatives for meeting the future electrical energy needs of the Tennessee Valley. The purpose of this study, the Integrated Resource Plan, is to develop a plan that TVA can enact to achieve a sustainable future and meet the electricity needs of the Tennessee Valley over the next 20 years. Apply online for construction permits
Obtaining a permit for small shoreline construction projects is now faster thanks to TVA’s new online application process. Smaller projects include shoreline stabilization and items like boat docks and piers.

Training to Begin for Recovery Act Weatherization Program
TVA and the Tennessee Department of Human Services are partnering to provide highly technical training sessions for energy auditors and weatherization contractors due to increased program needs resulting from American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding.
