Nationwide 10,500 men and women, retired and working, donate their time and talent to assist America’s entrepreneurs. At our 389 SCORE offices, volunteers provide confidential  business counseling and low-cost entrepreneurial training workshops and seminars.

Counselors come from a variety of occupations and backgrounds. Many volunteer counselors owned small businesses for years; others have worked for Fortunr 500 national and international firms. SCORE Counselors share a belief that small business owners are more likely to succeed if they have a business coach or mentor to guide them.  Once the chapter admits you as a volunteer, you will be invited to participate in SCORE's volunteer orientation and training program. You will have a chance to learn more about SCORE’s services, goals and leadership opportunities. Our chapter holds monthly meetings. All business counselors honor a code of ethics that ensures client confidentiality and professional conduct.
