The USGS Menlo Park Campus, started in 1954, is a leader for research on earthquakes, water quality and supply issues, volcanoes, coastal marine geology, mineral and energy resources, geography and geospatial information. The exhibits and presentations at this years Open House illustrate the diversity of projects in which USGS employees are involved.
