Guided Tours of the gardens on the USGS campus will be given at 11:00a on Saturday, May 16 and 1:00p on Sunday, May 17.

The USGS Menlo Park campus has the second-largest public collection of rhododendron varieties in California. Our grounds also feature camellias, star jasmine, Jacaranda trees, a Dawn Redwood tree, a drought-tolerant garden, and many other trees and flowering plants.

The tour will be led by Susan Hamilton (Executive Director, VTF Services) who has been in charge of landscape maintenance at the USGS for many years. The tours will begin at the flagpole in front of Building 3.
