Non-CO2 Mitigation
Greenhouse gases other than carbon dioxide (non-CO2 gases) play an important role in efforts to address global climate change due to their high global warming potentials and the availability of cost-effective emission reduction opportunities. Non-CO2 greenhouse gases are a significant contributor to climate change. Approximately 30% of the human-induced greenhouse effect can be attributed to the non-CO2 greenhouse gases.
