Great Lakes ADA & Accessible IT Center

Provides training, information and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) to individuals and organizations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Illinois Relay

A free service, provided 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to help people who are deaf or hard of hearing communicate with people who use standard telephone equipment.

Ten Dollar Tech

A regular column in the TECHTALK newsletter which features low or no-cost solutions for removing barriers to everyday living and working.

Assistive Technology Funding Manual

Guide explains assistive technology (AT) and explores various resources and funding sources.

Illinois Life Span

Statewide information resource and referral for advocacy and services for people with developmental disabilities. Site includes a searchable database, contact information for electronic and phone assistance and an advocacy "toolbox."

Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation

Provides telecommunications access to people who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened, Speech-Disabled and Deaf-Blind.

Infinitec, Inc.

A joint effort of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago and United Cerebral Palsy Associations, Inc., Washington D.C. designed to bring assistive technology to people with disabilities of all types, in the Illinois counties of Cook, DuPage, Lake and Kane.

National Lekotek Center

Lekotek uses interactive play experiences, and the learning that results, to promote the inclusion of children with special needs into family and community life.

EEOC/CAP Training in Chicago, IL

Join the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Defense's Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) for a free training seminar in Chicago, IL on April 8, 2009 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. People's Resource Center Computer Programs
