Series and Sequences: Contemporary Drawings and Prints from the Permanent Collection

Overview: This selection of 123 recently acquired drawings and prints by 12 contemporary European and American artists explored ideas through sequences of images. The exhibition included unbound portfolios and series of works by David Hockney, Sam Francis, Robert Mangold, and others. Ruth E. Fine, curator of modern prints and drawings, organized the exhibition with assistant curator Charles Ritchie.
