Headwaters Forest Reserve celebrates 10th Anniversary
Headwaters Forest Reserve
Headwaters Forest Reserve

The Headwaters Forest Reserve, 7,472 acres of public land located near Eureka, California, was acquired March 1, 1999 from private landowners and set aside to protect and preserve the ecological and wildlife values in the area.  Stands of old-growth redwood provide habitat for threatened marbled murrelet, and stream systems provide habitat for threatened coho salmon.

Join with us as we celebrate Headwaters Forest Reserve's 10th Anniversary.

Headwaters Forest Reserve is a component of the National Landscape Conservation System.
