The Eagle Lake Field office is requesting $151,000 in grant funds.  The cooperative agreement grant would be used to support OHV law enforcement.  Funds also would be used for restoration, operations and land acquisition needs at the Fort Sage Off Highway Vehicle Area near Doyle.

The preliminary applications are available for comments and review from Tuesday, March 3 through April 6, 2009.  They can be viewed online through the OHMVR Division website at: www.ohv.parks.ca.gov.  Printed copies are also available for review at the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office, 2950 Riverside Dr., Susanville, Calif.

Comments also will be accepted at a public meeting Monday, March 23, at 5 p.m. at the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office in Susanville.  Comments may be mailed to the Eagle Lake Field Office, 2950 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA 96130, attention:  Marisa Williams.  Comments can be emailed to Marisa_Williams@blm.gov

Comments may also be submitted directly to the CA State Parks OHMVR Division, 1725, 23rd St., Sacramento, CA 95816.
