Use My NCBI Collections to save PubMed citations for future use in PubMed.

Create a Collection

Step 1: Select the search result items you wish to save and select Send to Collections. This can be done from a results screen or from the Clipboard.

Note: If no items are checked, all (up to 500) items are included.

If you are not already signed into My NCBI, you will be prompted to do so.

Step 2: Choose to create a new collection. Rename your collection. Click OK.

Append to a Collection

Step 1: From the Save Collections pop-up window, choose Append to an existing collection.

Step 2: Choose the collection to which you want to add items. Click OK.
[Note: If you sent citations from the Clipboard, you will be given an option to remove all the saved items from the Clipboard at this step.]
