Recuerde que nadie conoce a sus hijos mejor que usted. Es importante
que hable con ellos sobre los riesgos comprobados a la salud que pueden
resultar de usar drogas.
- Escuche a sus hijos. Déjeles saber que le pueden hablar de todo y
que usted está dispuesto a escucharles, aun cuando lo que tengan
que decirle sea difícil de escuchar.
- Hábleles claro y a menudo. Explíqueles por qué el consumo de
las drogas no es saludable.
- No se olvide de mencionar que las drogas pueden afectar el
desempeño en sus actividades favoritas como el baile, fútbol
y otros deportes.
- Si sus hijos prefieren leer la información en inglés, usted puede
conversar con ellos en español y después entregarles la información
escrita en inglés.
