Neuro-Oncology Research Fellowship
The Neuro-Oncology Branch (NOB) is a trans-institutional program of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and National Institutes of Neurologic Disease and Stroke (NINDS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We are seeking qualified candidates for Research Fellowship positions from the fields of Neurosurgery, Medical Oncology and Neurology. Training experience will include formal coursework in Pharmacology and Clinical Research methodology, biweekly academic conferences, and management of over 2000 patients seen annually in our Brain Tumor Clinic with a worldwide referral base. Trainees will participate in the development and implementation of clinical trials for adult brain tumor therapeutics. Additionally, Fellows will have the opportunity to attend national scientific meetings, and have mentored pursuit of clinical and/or basic and translational science brain tumor research interests.
