Editing Key Personnel
The Key Personnel List page lists the individuals who contributes in a substantive way to the scientific development or execution of the project, whether or not a salary is requested. This section is analogous to the Personnel Report in the 2590.
Note: The PI is listed in the Personnel list by default and cannot be edited.
- Open the eSNAP Menu page for the desired grant (see Querying eSNAP Reports for details).
- Select Edit Business | Key Personnel to open the Key Personnel List page (ESP7007).
- To add key personnel:
- Enter the information in the Personnel Form section, noting the following:
- The format for the Date of Birth field is MM/DD/YYYY (for example, 01/01/1965).
- The format for the SSN (Social Security number) field is the 9 digits of the SSN, without dashes (for example, 123456789).
- The Project Role field is used to list the roles that this person has on the project (for example, Investigator, Research Assistant, Animal Caretaker).
- Annual % of Effort is a required field, and must be a value from 1 to 100 (whole numbers only). Enter the annualized effort if it changes throughout the year.
- Click Save & New to add the information to the Personnel list.
- To edit key personnel:
- Click the Edit hyperlink in the Action column for the desired person. The Personnel form is populated with the information for the selected person.
- Edit the fields as required, and click Save & New to update the information.
- To delete key personnel:
- Click the Delete hyperlink in the Action column for the desired person. The Delete Key Personnel page (ESP7005) opens with the selected information listed.
- Click Delete to finalize the deletion and return to the Key Personnel List page with the updated information.
