The
Coordinator
Guide contains suggestions for providing state and local
coordination and customization for the overall course. The guide is
divided into the following four sections:
About This Course,
which gives an overview of the course, the materials, and three
possible instructional models for offering the course.
The State Coordinator Role
which provides guidance on centrally coordinated logistics such as
promoting the course, ordering and distributing materials, organizing
learning groups, and supporting course evaluation and continuing
education.
The Group Facilitator Role,
which provides guidance on facilitating learning groups. It includes
tips for advance preparation and a checklist for facilitating a group.
Guidance
for Group Exercises,
which provides tips for preparing for and leading the group exercises
contained in each module. Suggested answers to the group exercises are
also located here.
