2006 Comments on the Environmental Impact Statement for a Rail Line to Yucca Mountain

The Department of Energy held public scoping meetings in October and November of 2006. We collected comments and concerns regarding what to study in an environmental impact statement on the construction and operation of a rail line to Yucca Mountain, Nevada.

Specifically, we invited comments on the Mina corridor and its alternatives. The comments we received are listed below.
