DEBRIS REMOVAL OR TREE ASSISTANCE  

FEMA-assisted right of way and private property debris removal by the Louisiana Recovery Field Office ended in all parishes, except Jefferson Parish, at midnight, August 31.

Jefferson Parish residents, we are working in the following 700 Zip Codes in preparation for mission closeout on September 30:

01, 02, 03, 05, 06, 53, 62, 65 69, 70, 72.

We have closed out in other Jefferson Parish zip codes.  For assistance in closed out Zip Codes, please call the Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs at 731-4612 or 736-6440 if you need tree or debris assistance. 

The Corps' Jefferson Parish debris mission will end Sunday, September 30, when the LA-RFO is deactivated.  No work requests will be processed after deactivation.  Residents should check with the Parish numbers above for instructions on debris removal and service. 

Request tree assistance from the Corps until 9/29/07

The Louisiana Recovery Field Office will deactivate September 29 as our FEMA mission comes to an end and transitions to FEMA-funded local Government operations.
