If you are an FDA employee, you should obtain the most up-to-date information about training available to you from the Intranet ORA U site. When you are logged in to the network, you can find ORA U at http://web.ora.fda.gov/dhrd/default.htm.

You do not have to be logged in to the FDA network to access web-based courses on Compliancewire. If you already have log on information, you can access the courses at https://www.compliancewire.com/partners/fdaora.

If you do not have log on information:

  • Personnel in ORA regions should contact your Regional Training Officer (RTO).
  • Headquarters ORA and all Center personnel should email their request to orau@ora.fda.gov.

Recommended System Requirements

Web based courses are different from face-to-face courses in that they require you to be more responsible for your own learning. You will also do better if you already have basic computer skills and some familiarity with the Internet.

If you can answer "yes" to each of the "Are Web-Based Courses For Me?" questions, you are probably ready for online learning. If you answer "no" to any of the questions, it would be wise to put in some additional time using a computer and surfing the web before you try an online course.

Before you start a course, read through the "Tips for Web Learners" to get yourself in a mindset for success.
