Region II Agreement State Complex Materials Sites Undergoing Decommissioning

Complex Materials Sites Undergoing Decommissioning - region II

Of the 62 complex materials sites that are currently undergoing decommissioning in the United States, 5 sites in Region II are regulated by the State of Florida, which the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has designated as an Agreement State. The map to the right illustrates the relative locations of these sites, and the table below provides links to their descriptions, which include site status summaries, any major technical or regulatory issues, and the estimated date for closure of each site. These site descriptions were provided by the Agreement State, and the NRC makes no claim regarding the validity of that information. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments.
