The Northern Light Enterprise Search Engine is a complete integrated suite of search technology applications including crawlers, content filters, indexing engine, classification engine, taxonomy, query server, clustering engine, application API's, security API, administrative system with reporting, and UI examples. The Northern Light Enterprise Search Engine is extremely fast, scales to huge databases, has extraordinarily effective relevance ranking, includes a fully-trained classification engine and taxonomy, integrates with enterprise network security to insure users only see documents they are authorized for, and is highly customizable. API's and support for industry standard protocols ensure flexibility and ease of integration into portal environments, websites, enterprise applications, or organizational workflows.
Northern Light is available on Linux and runs on low-cost PC servers. We offer the Northern Light Enterprise Search Engine for an inexpensive annual license (no large up-front first-year amount) that includes support, maintenance, and upgrades. There is no additional charge for backup servers or development environments.
