Farm Bill
The farm bill is a vital piece of legislation to farmers, ranchers, rural communities, low-income Americans and all our nation’s children. NFU encourages Congress to adopt farm programs that return profitability and economic opportunity to production agriculture and rural communities. The organization played a pivotal role in encouraging Congress to respond to the needs of rural America as it developed a new farm bill.
NFU held listening sessions across the country to give producers an opportunity to speak out and share their concerns. The provisions NFU supports in a new farm bill are a direct result of these listening sessions.
NFU’s Farm Bill Toolbox contains a wealth of information on the farm bill. Click the picture below to learn more.
