Welcome to the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, one of three academic departments in the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. An integral part of a leading public land grant institution, our College is a core component of one of the most comprehensive health sciences centers in the world.

Our Department is committed to developing and maintaining outstanding programs and services. This includes robust and relevant basic, applied, and translational research to improve animal health and well-being; state-of-the-art clinical veterinary medicine for ill and injured animals; excellent client care and communication, and exceptional consultation and referral services to private veterinary practitioners; leading-edge interdisciplinary teaching in the veterinary medical and post-professional (internship, residency and graduate) programs; and meaningful and relevant outreach and engagement activities that benefit the community, veterinary profession and society.
