The American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC) is a nationwide organization of poison centers and interested individuals.

American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA)
Web site for the American Pharmaceutical Association. Includes drug recalls residency sites, government news, current news, mall, student area, research interests, membership information and links to other pharmacy sites.

American Academy of Pediatrics
Dedicated to the attainment of optimal physical, mental and social health and well-being for infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Learn about chemicals around your house
This interactive site teaches children about ordinary household pesticide products that may contain harmful chemicals. The Web site includes information about toxic substances stored in different rooms in the house and answers commonly asked questions on safe use and storage of pesticides and other toxic products.

National Animal Poison Control Center (ASPCA)
The NAPCC is staffed with veterinary health professionals who are familiar with how different species respond to poisons and treatment protocols. At their fingertips, they have a wide range of information specific to animal poisoning.

National Library of Medicine - Tox Town
Illustrated guide to commonly encountered toxic chemicals, environmental health risks and the public's health, from the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Spanish version of Tox Town is also available.

National Poison Prevention Week
Public Law 87-319 (approved September 26, 1961) requested the President annually to designate the third week in March as National Poison Prevention Week. The observance, sponsored by the Poison Prevention Week Council, was designed to alert the American people to the problem of unintentional poisonings. For the past 40 years, National Poison Prevention Week has focused on preventing poisonings among children under 5 years of age.

National SAFE KIDS Campaign
The National SAFE KIDS Campaign promotes home safety. fire safety, and car safety to both adults and children.

Tucson Herpetological Society
