NRC-CISTI's information specialists can help you identifying experts, partners and available funding tailored to your specific needs from a wealth of information resources.

Information Search

Answers your needs through an in-depth investigation of a diversified set of information resources such as specialized databases, directories, industry-specific portals, internet and internal expert referrals. What you will get is a list of relevant and targeted results adapted to your specific situation.

Information Report

Provides you with a categorized and synthesized review of leading individuals, potential partnering organizations or funding opportunities based on a thorough understanding and integrated perspective on your specific requirements.

NRC-CISTI also offers Competitive Technical Intelligence (CTI) services. Technical Business Analysts (TBA) and Information Specialists (IS), with a high level of training and extensive experience, work together to provide customized analysis of large volumes of published and unpublished sources of information that relate to your areas of R&D. Theycan help in:

  • identifying similar projects around the globe
  • suggesting which applications of your technology might be most profitable in the marketplace
  • listing potential collaborators and partners
  • encouraging or discouraging technology acquisition, partnering and/or R&D investments

This service is offered through NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) and NRC Technology Clusters initiatives.
