Glacier and Landscape Change in Response to Changing Climate
Frozen in Time? This set of 13 morphed images of glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park is the product of an ongoing collaboration between US National Park Service's Ocean Alaska Science and Learning Center (OASLC) and the US Geological Survey. This cooperative activity has investigated all of the larger outlet glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park and has photographically documented their changes. Jim Pfeiffenberger, OASLC's Education Coordinator created the morphed pairs. For additional information about these morphed images, see OASLC's Learning Center Web site: Repeat Glacier Photography. For individual morphed glacier pairs, see OASLC's Learning Center Web site: Video & Audio. This 43 MB powerpoint is an automated presentation showing the changing glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park. Watch how the past is morphed into the present.
