There are lots of ways to get involved in the “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” campaign. You don’t have to testify in front of Congress or start a radio talk show. Simply talk to your child’s pediatrician or childcare provider, and you, too, can make a difference. Read more to find out how you can help.

Thank You Campaign Champions – Working Together - We made a Difference!
Thanks to the tremendous response from you, “Working Together – Helping Children Reach Their Full Potential.” outreach was a success. Champions in 21 states and distributed more than 2,000 flyers across the country. With your commitment, campaign messages are reaching more child care providers, health care professionals, and parents!

Let’s keep the momentum going – you can continue reaching out to child care providers, health care professionals, and parents in your community by becoming involved in the "Learn the Signs. Act Early." campaign. To learn more, e-mail actearly@cdc.gov.

Be a Campaign Spokesperson in Your Community
To help raise awareness, CDC counts on campaign partners and champions to be local spokespersons. We encourage you to speak to your local PTAs, civic organizations, child care groups, and others to spread the campaign messages. CDC has developed a presentation for partners to use when speaking to groups that covers campaign messages and activities in addition to encouraging people to get involved . This presentation is designed as an easy tool to help partners engage their local communities.

Promote "Learn the Signs. Act Early." in Your Neighborhood
Help us spread the word among parents and health care professionals in your area. We have developed a flyer for each of these important groups with all the information they need. We have developed Outreach Kits to help you easily share information about the campaign with others. The

Distribute the Television, Radio and Print PSAs
