SPECIAL ORDER/CONCESSIONAIRE SERVICES

Special Order Program

Our Special Order Program is available in our VCS facilities. A phone is located near each Special Order Kiosk, near or in the Canteen Retail Store. Customers can place special orders for Home delivery or Canteen delivery on National branded products such as: Computers, Tires, Major Appliances, Power Tools, Lawn Equipment, Shoes, electronics and more. Specialty items also available inlcude China, Crystal, Clocks, Luggage, Textiles, Sculptures and Fine Jewelry.

VCS offers over 80 vendors which Veterans and VA Employees can place orders by calling 1-800-664-8258 and pay using Employee Payroll Deduction (VA employees), major credit cards, electronic checks or cash.

Special Order -- Feature Manufacturer Of The Month

Every month, we select one or two new or existing manufacturers that are featured in the Special Order Kiosk, located at each canteen. All items offered in the Special Order Kiosk offer excellent value to our customers with no extra charges for shipping and handling. See your canteen retail store to order these and other great Special Order values!

Barber & Beautician Services

In most VA medical centers, we provide barber services; some have barber/beauty shops. Many smaller facilities that do not have barber shops have ward service available for patient haircuts.

Floral Services

We operate wire-flower services through Phillips Flower Service. Ordering flowers from all canteens is possible for shipping anywhere in the United States by calling the Special Order Call Center at 1-800-664-8258 from the Special Order Kiosk at the canteen or from any telephone.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning Services

At many of our locations, we offer laundry and dry cleaning services, which are available for eligible customers.

Concessionaire Sales

We have many local and national concessionaire agreements with vendors that are contracted to hold two-day sales events throughout the year. They include unique products that are not normally stocked in our stores. Examples of some of the products sold at these sales are: Books; Fine 10 KT and 14 KT Gold Jewelry; Paintings/Prints; Furniture; Local Sports Memorabilia, and Crafts.

Sprint Prepaid Calling Cards

We sell Sprint Prepaid Calling Cards, available at discounted prices for as little as 4 cents per minute. These products make excellent gifts for anyone (college or high schools students, when traveling, everyday use from home or away from home, for emergencies.)
