FOOD OPERATIONS
The goal of VCS food services is to provide customers with an "oasis" within the medical center, yet away from the day-to-day operations. An atmosphere where the emphasis is placed on delicious, freshly prepared foods, served at reasonable prices with great hospitality. A wide selection of foods is available from traditional comfort foods to specialized menu selections. All foods are prepared with Trans Fat Free oils and spreads.

COUNTRY COOKING
Delicious comfort foods are one of our main attractions. Favorites are roast beef, roast turkey and meatloaf accompanied by freshly prepared vegetables, hot desserts and hot breads. For the health conscious customers look for our "Wise Up" meal that contains less than 600 calories, 800 mg sodium, 100 mg cholesterol and no more than 30% calories from fat.

BROASTER CHICKEN SHOP
Genuine Broaster Chicken® begins with the finest quality chicken, marinated and coated with specially formulated Broaster ingredients. The chicken is cooked "under pressure" limiting the absorption of cooking oil and resulting in a golden, crispy-crunchy coating. To compliment our chicken, we serve hot biscuits and assorted vegetables.

MAINSTREET GRILL
Our juicy ¼ lb burgers are made from U.S.D.A. inspected beef. In addition, our grill menu consists of chicken & fish sandwiches, hot dogs, french fries & onion rings. Garnish grilled sandwiches to your own special taste with a variety of fresh toppings. Look for our daily specials such as taco salads and baked potato bar.

5TH AVENUE DELI
Enjoy our mouthwatering sandwiches made from the highest quality meats, cheeses and fresh vegetables. Breads are baked fresh daily in ovens right at the counter. Our menu features more than 8 sandwiches with tempting daily specials. Check out our "Wise Up" sandwiches containing seven grams of fat or less.

PAPA’S BEST PIZZA
We serve a 16" pizza made fresh daily, whole or by the slice. We use the highest quality sauce, meats, cheeses and toppings. Daily offerings include cheese, pepperoni, sausage, combination and vegetarian on wheat crust.

FRESH CHOICES BISTRO
At breakfast choose from fluffy omelets, Belgian waffles with fruit toppings, golden pancakes as well as other breakfast favorites. Our lunch menu offers a wide array of hot sandwiches (e.g. Philly Cheese Steak, Reuben, Portabella Mushroom, etc.) along with the standard sandwiches such as burgers, chicken and fish. For sides, customers can select fries or healthier choices such as fruit cup, tossed salad or baked potato.

For our customers seeking a healthier lifestyle, look for the "Wise Up" symbol in all of our food shops. The "Wise Up" symbol identifies foods that are lower in total fat, cholesterol and calories. Nutritional information is available in each shop or on line.

SALADS/DESSERTS
Garden fresh, colorful salads are available in several sections of our food court. For our customers who have a sweet tooth, a wide variety of tempting desserts are offered daily.
