Personnel Action Process in Capital HR and Subsequent Deadlines

Actionable item(s)

Subsequent Deadline

Job code/position number request forms submitted to HRPSB for position management.

COB Friday, 30 calendar days (five Fridays) before the effective date.

Job code/position number request forms completed and returned to DHRO staff.

COB Friday, 23 calendar days (four Fridays) before the effective date.

Electronic action entered into Capital HR by DHRO staff, all associated case work, and an electronic list of all actions [including last name, first name, type of action (except EODs and CAOs)] submitted to HRPSB.

COB Friday, 16 calendar days (three Fridays) before the effective date.

Awards (e.g., Individual/Group, Time Off)

Awards will be processed within ten workdays after being received in HRPSB.

All pay and other documents not associated with a personnel action (e.g., direct deposit, state taxes).

Within two pay periods after receipt in HRPSB.


EXCEPTIONS LIST AND SUBSEQUENT DEADLINES

Subsequent Deadline

All EODs (including CAOs from other OPDIVs and transfers from other agencies) actions, electronically and associated paperwork submitted to HRPSB.

COB Wednesday after the effective date. Job code/position number request forms for EODs and CAOs should be submitted immediately upon selection and acceptance.

Change in Hours/Work Schedule

Submit to Position Management Group at least seven calendar days before the effective date.

PCA/PSP & Recruitment and Retention Incentive

Submit to Diane Sullivan (or her designee) at least seven calendar days before the effective date.
