The
DoDEA Professional Development and Education Equity Branch assists
area offices, offices of the district superintendents, schools and
headquarters personnel with professional development that meets the
needs of educators. Professional development is intended to provide
on-going job related skills that enhance, remediate or fine tune job
required competencies that are correlated to student achievement.
The Professional Development and Education Equity Branch personnel
serve as facilitators for strategic meetings and provide curriculum
pre-implementation assistance. The Professional Development and Education
Equity Branch coordinates the annual educator award programs, the
Teacher Forum, and the Teacher
to Teacher Newsletter
