Reaching Iran and the World 7 Days a Week

Persian News Network rolled out this unique and compelling program lineup in the fall of 2006. The lineup features a diverse mix of news, information, analysis and discussion of the day's top issues concerning Iran, the region and the world as well as U.S. policies. The service has eliminated redundancy in its daily radio and television broadcast schedule and is maximizing its resources by simulcasting the four-hour primetime lineup.

Today's Woman
(6:10 - 7:00 pm, Iran time)
PNN’s newest program, had its debut September 27, 2007. The one-hour program features influential women from around the world discussing a full spectrum of topics, including social, medical, human rights, legal, sports, and business.

News and Views
(7:00 - 9:00 pm, Iran time)
PNN’s existing flagship, now 2 hours, features live news coverage of the latest headlines from Washington, Iran and across the globe.

Roundtable 
(9:00 - 10:00 pm, Iran time)
Talk/call-in show with expert guests, features discussion of current events, politics, popular culture and global health.  Viewers and listeners from Iran and around the world participate in the show with phone calls and e-mails.

Late Edition
(10:00 - 11:00 pm, Iran time)
The broadcast begins with a wrap up of the day’s news and a closer look at a top story. Targeted to a younger demographic, the show also features health, technology, sports, entertainment and culture segments.

NewsTalk
(11:00 - 12:00 pm, Iran time)
NewsTalk is a new journalists’ roundtable discussion program that features a news update followed by an examination of the day’s top stories and an in-depth look at issues relating to Iran.
