Call for Entries for the Award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence

The Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness (DUSD L&MR) is partnering with the Supply-Chain Council and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) to sponsor the ninth annual Department of Defense (DoD) Award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence.

The DoD Award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence honors organizations that have made exceptional progress through innovative development or adoption of the best supply chain practices.

The award will be presented at the NDIA National Logistics Conference in April 2009.

Applications for this year’s award are due to the Office of the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Supply Chain Integration Office) by February 1, 2009. Please send them to Ms. Debra Bennett at debra.bennett@osd.mil.
