NDIC Training

The NDIC Training Unit's mission is to effectively and efficiently analyze, design, and coordinate the implementation and evaluation of training needs in support of the production of NDIC's intelligence products and services.

Our staff includes instructional systems specialists, training technicians, writing program specialists, and analyst trainers. Our services are available either at our Headquarters facility in Johnstown, PA, our Washington D.C. liaison office, or we can provide on-site training at your location.

Currently, we are offering two outstanding training courses: the Multiagency Course and the Real-time Analytical Intelligence Database (RAID) Training course.

Multiagency Course

The Multiagency Course is an intensive, 1-week entry level training drug intelligence analysis course. This introductory course provides an overview of counterdrug intelligence analysis, introduces students to basic analytical tools and techniques, and allows students to apply newly acquired skills to a comprehensive final practical exercise involving charting, analysis, and presentation. This course is tuition-free and is open to all federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement personnel (including active duty military and National Guard).

The Multiagency Course was created in 1997 through the cooperative efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, National Guard Bureau, U.S. Customs Service, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and National Drug Intelligence Center. The National Drug Intelligence Center funds and coordinates the course.

See our Multiagency Course page for further information on this course.

Real-time Analytical Intelligence Database (RAID) Training

In this 5-day course, users will be trained on the RAID software so that evidentiary, investigatory and intelligence data can be readily analyzed, retrieved, and packaged into reports and external visualization tools to assist organizations with their investigations and intelligence projects. No prior experience with RAID is needed

See our RAID Training page for further information on this course.
