Since 1950 Arizona has received more than $75 million from the Sport Fish Restoration Program for the management and conservation of the state's fishery resources. Click on "Highlights" for an overview of the wide range of activities funded by the program.

Arizona hatcheries are a major recipient of these funds, enabling the state to stock millions of trout and catfish annually for recreational fishing. To ensure that everyone who wants to fish can, the state's Urban Fishing Program brings the fish to the people.
