Registration is Now Open for the Seventh Annual IPR Roundtable

AMBASSADOR CLARK T. RANDT, JR.'S ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

November 6: Evening Reception       November 7: IPR Roundtable   amb randt at ipr

The Seventh Annual Ambassador's IPR Roundtable will be held in Beijing on Thursday and Friday, November 6-7. This year, the discussion will focus on new Chinese IPR legislation and strategies and what they mean for U.S. businesses. In June, China announced its National IPR Strategy. On August 1, China's new Anti-Monopoly Law went into effect. A revised Patent Law is open for public comment, and reviews of trademark and copyright laws are underway. The bilateral IPR Working Group has restarted in the JCCT.

The annual Ambassador's IPR Roundtable will provide a forum to examine these developments and their impact on doing business in China, and will again provide a venue for U.S. businesses to tell the Ambassador directly what role the United States Government should be playing to support rightsholders in China.

The registration fee covers the opening reception and movie screening on November 6th and attendance at the Roundtable on November 7th, including a luncheon. We regret that there are no partial fees for attending only portions of the IPR Roundtable.
