Featured Export Service Provider Listing Standards & Participation Guidelines

OBJECTIVE

The Featured Export Service Provider (FESP) program offered by the U.S. Commercial Service offers both U.S. and non-U.S. professional service providers the ability to promote their services to U.S. exporters via the Web.

FESP is designed to help U.S. exporters identify professional export service providers in their local communities, or in another state or region, to assist them in the assessment, completion, or financing of an export transaction.

Featured Export Service Providers gain visibility for their products and services within the exporting community via participation in the FESP.

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES AND PRICE

U.S. and non-U.S. professional service companies have the option to promote their company on one or more U.S. websites. A listing on a U.S. website costs $250 (per year, per listing) and includes the following:

  • Detailed company description (maximum 500 words)
  • Company logo
  • Company contact information
  • Corporate website link
  • Multiple listings thereafter can be purchased at a reduced price ($75 each). Annual renewals of FESP listings are offered at a discount ($135 each).

Participating companies can expect to receive initial counseling on the FESP service and a navigational tour of CS websites. During the registration process, clients will receive the specifications for a FESP listing, such as text limits, graphic requirements, etc.

Participating companies will also receive information regarding client responsibilities and CS quality assurances. Upon receipt of payment, the CS will complete a short qualification review of the participating client. Website development for the FESP listing will begin immediately thereafter.

DELIVERY TIME

The U.S. Commercial Service must qualify all company information before publishing a participant's on-line listing. This qualification review will normally be complete in 1-2 days.

Upon completion of a qualification review, a client can expect his or her FESP listing to be on-line within 1-2 days.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  1. Provide all required information for your listing during registration;
  2. Provide a maximum of 500 words for your listing, and a logo or image in JPEG or GIF format with a maximum image size of 200 W x 85-150 H pixels;
  3. Provide timely payment prior to publication of your listing on-line;
  4. Respond in a timely and professional manner to inquiries resulting from your FESP listing;
  5. Notify the Commercial Service of any changes in your corporation contact information, product or service line, logo, etc.; and
  6. The terms and conditions as stated on the website.

U.S. COMMERCIAL SERVICE QUALITY ASSURANCES

The U.S. Commercial Service ensures that:

  1. The FESP listing will be made available for one year from date of activation;
  2. A subscription renewal process will be made available prior to the current subscription's expiration;
  3. The CS refund policy applies to FESP listings; and
  4. Reasonable changes to contact information, as well as other timely updates to the listing, may be made at the discretion of the local Commercial Service office upon the client's request.
