The
HIV/AIDS Special Surveillance Report
is published by the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention-Surveillance and
Epidemiology, National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention, Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This report describes the
demographic and behavioral characteristics of persons with HIV infection
or AIDS who were interviewed for the Supplement to HIV/AIDS Surveillance
project during June 1997–December 2000. All data in this report
are provisional.
