Abstract The Dr. Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry is currently presenting the exhibition The Future is Now! African Americans in Dentistry. The exhibition will be in place at the museum until August 2004, at which time the exhibition will begin traveling to various sites around the country through 2006. Relevant holdings in the museum's library and archives comprise seven African American dental history books, a small amount of archive material, a few pictures, general dental history texts, and reference guides.
