Training Division
The training division is in charge of both in-house training and resident training classes, including Coast Guard “C” schools. The NSF has numerous courses which you will attend upon arrival to the team, and continue through-out your time attached to the team. Entering them into TMT and updating everyones qual book, along with scheduling all the training keeps this division very busy.
The Training officer is also AOPS and the training Chief is a newer billet added post 9/11 as an additional MSTC to handle the WMD training and responses. In addition to the Chief and the Officer there are two training Petty Officers who rotate from other divisions.
