Medical Office
Our HSC is always hard at work.
The AST is located on Fort Dix/McGuire Air Force Base. All Active duty Coast Guard assigned to AST and there dependents are provided health care through the 305th Air Force Clinic. The 305th is a full service clinic. The following are a few of the services provided, Pharmacy, x-ray, physical therapy, GYN, optometry and routine medical care. There are no emergency services provided. There is an after hours clinic for minor illness and injuries. The nearest Coast Guard Clinic in the area is Cape May.
t is important that active duty members report with all medical readiness complete. AST members are required to complete an occupational OMSEP physical annually, the OMSEP PE needs to be completed before reporting to the AST.
