Admin Department
The Admin department is headed by the F&S. In the Organizational Chart of the AST there are only two departments OPS and ADMIN. Under the F&S there are one HSC, two YNs and, two SKs. As a member of this department you will be challenged in many new and unique ways. First and foremost, every strike team member is a responder. At times this can be difficult because the other divisions focus around response gear maintenance as their primary responsibility. However, Admin not only has to train as responders, they also manage all pay, travel, ordering and medical issues. This department requires highly motivated individuals who are customer orientated. It is a tough job, but a very rewarding one as well.
