NOAA Weather Radio station WWF-56 provides weather information and forecasts for South Central Washington. Counties in the broadcast area include Walla Walla, Klickitat, Yakima, Benton, Franklin, Grant and Adams.

Tri-Cities NOAA Weather Radio is a cooperative effort between NOAA's National Weather Service (NWS) and the Washington State Division of Emergency Management. The broadcast originates from the NWS in Pendleton and transmits from Rattlesnake Mountain near Richland on a frequency of 162.450 MHz. Continuous updates are provided.

The Tri-Cities NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter is located at Rattlesnake Mountain, Washington at an elevation of 3523 feet.
