On September 24-25, 2008, the U.S. Commercial Service-Utah in partnership with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development is organizing a Business Matchmaking and Networking opportunity for international delegates to take advantage of the spin off program in Salt Lake City, Utah immediately following MINExpo.
This Two-Day Spin-Off features:
September 24, Wednesday: Proposed Welcome Dinner or Networking Reception
September 25, Thursday (Whole Day):
- Tour of Rio Tinto’s Kennecott Utah Copper Bingham Canyon Mine, one of the world’s largest and most up-to-date integrated open pit copper operations;
- Pre-Arranged and Pre-Screened One-on-One Meetings with Utah-based companies specializing in mining-related products, services and expertise; and,
- Various Business Matchmaking Opportunities with key contacts in Utah’s mining industry.
- Optional: Golf Tournament at Talons Golf Course sponsored by the World Trade Association of Utah (Fri, September 26)
